Hey Y'all!
I am Madeline Herrell, but everyone just calls me Maddie. I am a twenty-year-old from Athens, TN who loves Jesus and has a soft spot for movies, smiling, cities, red lip stick, and anything remotely pertaining to coffee.
Originally from a one stop light town called Chilhowie set in the rolling hills of Virginia, my world turned upside down when my family moved to the roaring South American city of Lima, Peru to be missionaries in 2011. Although hesitant at first, I soon grew to love Peru and the Lord worked in my heart in a big way while we were there. After five years of serving there, my family moved back to the states and we are now settled in the great state of Tennessee.
I am currently a student at the Crown College studying secondary education with an emphasis in English (yeah, I know...I am a nerd haha). My desire is to simply serve the Lord. Whether that be through teaching, being in the ministry, or just being a mom; I couldn't tell you, but I can say I am game for anything as long as He goes with me!
One thing I love to do is to share how the Lord is working in my heart! Normally I do this through writing! It is through this blog that I desire to do just that. It is my desire to just share my heart and maybe somewhere along the way the Lord will speak to or bless your's!
So here's my thoughts with all their faults and failures, but I pray that God uses them in some way, but if not, may He still be glorified!
